Projects

The big (and only) project at the moment is finishing the basement. With the generous help of family members, we hope to have this done in the next month or two. After that, Vance will be going down to Peck on weekends he's not working to help his Dad on his big project, finishing the inside of his newly built 60' by 40' barn. We've done some painting upstairs with the help of family and friends as well, but still have a long ways to go as far as upstairs painting and decorating, (and even a bit of remodeling) but for now, we're focusing on the basement. Here are a few pictures of our new house, and our progress so far:

Here are some pictures of the basement when we bought the house. The outside walls were finished, and the stairway was finished on the inside (and closed in, which you'll see we changed):
Here are some pictures of our progress. We've got all the plumbing done, the propane in for the fireplace, the electrical all done, ethernet in every room of the house (pretty much), and the sheetrock all hung. We are in the middle of the wonderful sheetrock mud mess known as flatwork, which we haven't taken pictures of yet.
A lot has been done since these pictures. I'll get some new ones up as soon as I can.
