Ok, we've finally updated the website with pictures from 9, 10, 11, 12 months, and Luke's first birthday. Hopefully soon we'll have pictures from our recent trip to New Hampshire for Auntie Meg and Uncle Kevin's wedding, which was beautiful!  There's also a new video of Luke walking with his airplane. It's about 6 weeks old, he's walking up a storm now! We have a new video camera, so we've been shooting new videos of him walking, we just need to get them onto the computer and into a format we can post on the website.

We hope you all are having a great summer! Luke starts swimming lessons today, hopefully we'll get some pictures of that too - he's been really liking the pool!

It's Luke's 1st birthday today! We can't believe it's been a year already.  Sorry we've been a bit behind on updating the website.  We're almost done with the basement (I know we said that in January too!)  - we finally got the carpet put down in the playroom, so we only have small finishing touches to do now. We'll get pictures up soon.

We'll also post pictures of Luke's first birthday party, which is tomorrow!

Well, Christmas is over, and it was a wonderful first Christmas for Luke. We celebrated with both of our families, and Luke managed to not get overloaded with too many gifts!

We're almost done with the basement, the end is within sight.  We've been spending a lot of time looking for furniture, and Vance has been busy during his off hours doing lots of little things that still need to be done down there. We will post pictures soon!

Look for a new video of Luke on his picture page - he's getting so much bigger every day - hard to believe he's over 8 months old now! He's starting to get 2 more teeth, and even though he's not full fledged crawling yet, we think he wants to take off walking any day now - if he had his way!!

We've added more photos of Luke to the gallery - please take a look, we hope you enjoy them!  There is also a video on the Baby page of Luke laughing. We'll try to add more videos as we take them.

Work on the basement is progressing, we're finished with all the drywall, the bathroom is almost complete, and we're in the middle of painting.  Our goal is to be done by Christmas, we'll let you know if we reach that goal. Hopefully we'll post some more pictures soon.

We finally made a bit of progress setting up the website.  Some of the links won't work yet, but we're getting there.

We just got back from our trip to Chicago, where we had a great time.  Vance took a couple classes at The Second City, and Erin and Luke saw the sights.  We picked the hottest Kansas week of the year to go up there, so we timed it well, but were still glad to get home.  We snapped a few pictures that we will put in the gallery if we get time.  Vance and our Dads are back to work on the basement (see progress in the "projects" photo gallery) trying to get as much done as possible before he starts work in Holton in a couple of weeks.  Vance continues to write for the Placebo Journal (You should SUBSCRIBE right now), and Luke continues to grow.  A major shocker today, as Luke moved into his 6 month clothes before he hit 4 months.

We got the embedded instant messenger tool working, which is to the right.  Feel free to use it to help us to procrastinate from whatever we're doing.
